Taking place monthly, the Soori Rice Initiative in collaboration with the Chiefs of villages is a crucial part of community involvement in ensuring a wider awareness on the responsible usage of plastics and the need for reducing, reusing and recycling

Yet another successful round of clean up was conducted at Soori Bali this week, with a total of 450kg of plastic exchanged for 450kg of rice!

Revenue generated from Tenda goes into purchasing rice from our local farmers and a bag of rice is offered to the villagers of Kelating in exchange for plastic debris collected from beaches, rivers and around the village.
